2008 Breedings and Availability

Gordon Setters

1. Wyld Gypsy Bright Star, JH (Gypsy) whelped a litter of six male and three female pups on May 19, sired by Forever Wyld Bright Star, JH (Wyley.)  Gypsy was Gordon Setter Club of America Field Puppy of the Year for 2002 and Wyley was Field Puppy of the Year for 1999.  Gypsy is OFA Excellent and Wyley is OFA Good.  Litter has been raised at Bright Star.  This is Gypsy's second litter; Wyley's offspring are proving themselves in both the field and the show ring.  Pups are ready for their new homes and a few remain available.  Email us at mczar@brytestar.com or call 707-763-5735.

2. We plan to breed Riot, Stirling's Wyld Bright Star, JH in the fall.  Sire TBA.  Litter will be whelped and raised at Bright Star.

 Irish Setters

1.  Ch. Starbrite Cupid's Li'l Pistol, MH (Derri) whelped a litter of 5 male pups on June 29, sired by Vabrill Vaquero Bright Star (Vaquero)  Derri is owned by Sue Orlicky of Seattle, WA, who will whelp and raise the litter.  You can reach Sue directly at 206-767-5666 or at bryteagle@juno.com. 

2.  Mex. Ch. Starbrite Vabrill Bright Star (Chac) has been bred to Bright Star My Best Boy Rogan (Rogan).  Rogan is the only son of Journey x DC Razzle.  Pups are due after the middle of November.  Litter will be whelped and raised at Bright Star.

3.  Am/Mex/Int'l/World Ch. Starbrite Wonder Bright Star, JH (Sienna)  completed her World Championship at the World Dog Show in Mexico City last May and will be bred later in 2008.  Sire TBA.  Litter will be whelped and raised at Bright Star.

4.  We have one or two other females that we are considering breeding in 2008, and Am/Can/Mex/Intl Ch. Starbrite Marvel Bright Star, JH (Journey) has a number of females coming for breeding in 2008/9.
